What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Some are needed for the site to work. Others measure how the site is used or help show advertising to people who have visited it. Similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage, are covered by this policy in the same way.
This cookie policy complements the privacy policy and describes the categories of cookies used by the Domus Sapientes site, their purpose and how to manage your consent. The data controller is Tombari Franco.
Necessary cookies
These keep the site working and remember your choices. They do not need consent. Examples: the cookie that stores your language, the one that records your cookie preferences, the session cookie of the password-protected preview area, the anti-abuse checks on the enquiry form, and the technical cookies Vercel uses to serve the site securely. They last from the end of your session up to 12 months.
Statistics cookies
With your consent, Google Analytics collects anonymised data on how visitors use the site: pages viewed, time spent, device, approximate location. We use it to understand which pages help and which do not. Data is kept for up to 14 months, per Google's settings.
Marketing cookies
With your consent, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel record that you visited the site and which pages you saw, so that advertising for the project can be shown to you on Google and on Meta's platforms, and so we can measure whether an advert led to an enquiry. Data is kept according to each provider's policy, typically up to 24 months.
Embedded third-party services
The call booking page loads the Cal.com calendar, which may set technical cookies of its own when you open it. Any maps or videos embedded in the site load only after consent to the relevant category.
Managing your choice
The banner on your first visit lets you accept all, reject all or choose by category. You can change your mind at any time from the Cookie preferences link in the footer. You can also delete cookies from your browser settings, though the site may then ask you again.
Rejecting statistics and marketing cookies does not limit what you can do on the site, including sending the enquiry form.
